someone's trash...and our new treasures

 Saying goodbye to the swingset (sad face)

Drew posted the swingset on Craig's List...it's a hot item!! 

...But saying hello to the new additions

1) We start with the red door (the key to feng shui)

2) Maupin's new collar and leash! Now she looks like a girl, mom!

(I love this picture...nothing like a man and his dog!)

3) Herb Garden

Behind the house, next to the kitchen is the new home of the following herbs:

english thyme, sage, mojito mint, italian oregano, dill, & rosemary (mojito mint being my favorite)

4) With the new door, we had to get flowers that matched on the front porch (Drew's request)...Don't worry Julie, the flowers you potted were just transplanted to a potters plant in the front of the house along the steps. We have red and white Petunias and Grass in the pots...this Fusia is with the herb garden along with some Marigolds to keep the bunnies away (note: so far this has not been the case with Maupin who has already frolicked through the garden on a number of occasions!).

5) Clothesline

(that already has a wasp nest in it!! And that, yes, is tied to the neighbor's fence)

6) Cornhole

Drew and Joel created the boards about 3 weeks ago. I painted it today. The bean bags are in the mail...I was planning to make them, but sewing by hand did not seem appealing to me!
